Young author competition – bring your story to life!

Description

Do you know a young storyteller with a vivid imagination?  The Magnificent Kids Young Author competition is the perfect opportunity for children aged 10-12 to showcase their creativity and share their magical adventures with the world!

What’s included?

• Theme:  Magical Adventures – Let imaginations soar as young authors craft unique, inspiring tales.
• Word count:  500-1000 words.  Just the right length to balance creativity and focus.
• Professional judging:  Stories will be evaluated by a panel of educators, authors and literacy advocates.

Prizes:

• Grand prize:  A professionally illustrated version of the winning story and digital copies to share with family and friends.  We can also arrange for printed copies for the winner’s account.
• Runners-up:  Free entry to our exclusive writing workshop and a certificate of achievement.
• Participation gift:  All participants receive a special gift to encourage their love for storytelling.

How it works:

1. Write:  Create an original story inspired by the theme written by hand or typed on a computer.
2. Submit:  Send your story to us by Sunday, 12 January 2025.
3. Win:  Compete for prizes that celebrate your creativity and writing skills!
